Baby Shower Decor or gifts!

Jill White, a member of our group is trying to sprout a new business out of her home creating Diaper Cakes! If you've never seen or received a diaper cake, they are adorable. When I got mine, it took me awhile before I decided to take it apart and use it. It made such a cute addition to the nursery. If you'd like to look at what Jill is working on or order a diaper cake, check out her website at:

It's worth looking at if you know someone that is having a baby soon!

Happy New Year!

Happy 2009! Now that the holidays are behind us, I hope you are finding time to breathe again and sip your favorite cup or coffee or simply just sit back and reflect on your goals for the next year. I just wanted to remind you that our next meeting will be January 15. This will be our only meeting for the month as we missed our week 1 meeting. I am looking forward to this semester with much excitement as we continue our year. Take care and I will see you next week as we discuss Women's Health and have a craft.

December 5 Meeting

We had a great meeting last week. Christmas was definitely in the air as we had Pastor Stan come and speak to us about how we can teach the true meaning of Christmas to our kids. Here are a few quick notes:
*Wise people worship and give to Jesus.
*God so loved the world, that he gave! (John 3:16)
*When we give we become more like Christ.
*Giving is the highest form of living.

These were notes we got from a handout that Stan gave to us. If you would like a copy, let me know at the next meeting.
We also heard a song about how a baby changed everything for Mary when she gave birth to our savior. Discussion groups talked about how it must have been for her as well as how our own lives changed when we had our own babies.

Here are a few announcements....

Don't forget to bring a $5 gift if you wish to participate in the gift exchange next week.

Mom's Nite Out has been moved UP to this Monday December 15 @7p.m. at the Starbucks inside Glenbrook mall. Come do some shopping and then stop in for a coffee.

A big thank you to all of you that participated in the Christmas project this year. I know our family will be blessed this holiday season! Thank you for giving from your heart.

Have a great day and we'll see you at the next meeting which will be our Christmas party next Thursday December 18th! Take care!
