Do you ever feel like you've got way too many hats on your head? You know, the mommy hat, the chef hat, the career hat, the wife hat. I'm sure if we all had a hat to symbolize all the "things" we take care of in a day, we would see that we just can't physically handle or wear all of them at one time. Take time to reflect on all that goes on in a day in YOUR life. We all wear a lot of hats, it's how we wear them that matters! Journal about it and try to think about ways you can reduce some stress.
If you missed our October 2 meeting, we talked about the hats we wear in life. We discussed which ones we enjoy wearing and the ones we'd rather trade in for a better or newer hat. It was great to hear from other moms that also feel like the stack of hats gets higher and higher and how we can learn to take our hats off from time to time and just relax.
Don't miss out on our next meeting on October 16. We're going to have a spa day! There will be a chocolate fountain, catered breakfast and lots of time to pamper yourself. We'll also have a massage therapist on hand. If you'd like a 10 minute chair massage, please contact Myah St. John for more info. and to reserve a spot. There are only a few left!
Also, our craft will be bath salts, something you can take to make spa day last a little longer in your own home. Bring a small to medium sized jar with a lid so you can create your own salts with your own scents.
Don't forget if you'd like to get in on the babysitting co-op, contact Courtney Dressler.
Our first Mom's Night Out will be held Oct. 20. Meet us at Starbucks on Coliseum for a mocha and some girl time....the fun starts at 7p.m.
If you're not sure where your contact list is, please leave a comment on this site and I'll get in touch with you! Have a great weekend and stay tuned for more MOPS news!

There is only 1 spot left for a massage! Let me know if you want it. It's $10 just in case you were not at the meeting to hear that.
